Sunday Fun with Evan and Jake 2013-06-09

Easy Sunday morning... after a continental breakfast the size of Africa, we headed out to the Gliders' Port in La Jolla.  I'm not sure if this was a well-known place, but I knew about it because I used to work really close by.  We attempted to hike down to the beach from there, but gave up half way because wedge-shoes were not recommended on the trail ;-)  Aidan was really set on playing with sand on the beach, so we drove down to visit the beach down in La Jolla Village.  After an hour or so, as we were about to leave La Jolla, I remembered this path that took us to the the Mt. Soledad Memorial that had awesome panoramic views.  In the afternoon, we had a play date with Evan and Jake, flying kite in Mission Bay Park.  If all weekends can be like this...
