Spring Break Road Trip 2014-04-24
Day 1: Our destination was Phoenix, Arizona, but we took a detour south to check out the Salton Sea. What looked like white sand beach was actually not sand at all, but fish bones! Then we visited Salvation Mountain, which turned out to be the highlight of the day.
Day 2: was mostly a travel day... our goal was to make it to our hotel at Roswell, NM. We did swing by Tombstone, AZ to checkout the old western town. However, by the time we reached White Sands National Monument, it was already closed.
Day 3: Carlsbad Caverns, the main attraction of our trip!
